The mission of Fountainhead Gallery
is to offer my fellow artists access to 'wall space' in my 28th street location.
art is an 85%:15% effort. The artist needs to spend 85% of his or her time
showing, promoting and selling art, leaving 15% to sleep, eat and create more
art. I know that this is contrary to the popular myth that being 'represented'
by a gallery is the apex of all artistic achievement. In reality, it is only
through the efforts of individual artists that their work will be hung, viewed
and sold.
Fountainhead Gallery is a place where artists can show, meet other artists and share information, ideas and contacts.
